SnapQuest is an interactive social media mobile application centered around authentic, daily photo sharing. It provides users with a dynamic platform to capture their daily activities, share visual updates, and engage with a vibrant community through a real-time, interactive feed.
In a saturated social media landscape, users often feel pressured to curate perfect feeds rather than sharing genuine daily moments. The client needed a fast, intuitive app that encouraged spontaneous sharing. The technical challenge was ensuring high-performance image loading and real-time social interactions (likes, comments) without app lag, while keeping user data strictly protected.
I engineered a scalable, cross-platform mobile application optimized for seamless media handling. I implemented a real-time database to ensure the social feed, likes, and comments update instantly. To guarantee data integrity and protect user privacy, I integrated secure Firebase Authentication and configured strict backend database rules, ensuring that personal media assets and user interactions remain completely secure.
